As we enter this season of Advent, I’m excited to invite you to journey with me. Throughout the church’s history, Advent has been a time of holy anticipation—a season where we slow down long enough to remember that Christ stepped into our world, into our stories, and into our need. This year, I felt the need to create and compile daily Advent devotionals. I will attach the work in its entirety below and also post daily on my Substack to help us walk through this season together, one holy day and reflection at a time.

Each day, we’ll pause to let the Word speak freshly to us, especially the hope-filled message of John 1, which reminds us that “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). In a world that often feels heavy and overwhelming, this God’s truth found in Christ Jesus anchors us. The same Light that broke into the world still breaks into our hearts today.  Just a few verses later, we’re reminded that “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14)—a breathtaking reminder of God’s nearness. This is the miracle of the incarnation we anticipate, learn to accept, and adore throughout this Advent season.

My prayer is that these daily reflections will deepen your hope, steady your spirit, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ. I pray we become more keenly aware of Christ’s presence in and through our everyday lives. I would love for you to read, subscribe, and share your thoughts as we move through this season together. Visit my Substack and join me daily as we look for Christ, welcome His light, and prepare our hearts for the wonder of His coming.
